From Carnival's website:
If you take closed loop cruises (meaning your trip begins and ends at a U.S. port), you can sail to a variety of dreamy destinations as a U.S. citizen without a passport.
For “closed-loop” cruises, U.S. citizens will need to provide:
As we plan the projects for you to enjoy during our Crafty Cruise Getaway, we have taken into consideration the need to transport your creations back home. We understand the importance of minimizing size and quantity for your convenience. To accommodate this, we suggest bringing a carry-on bag specifically designated for transporting your crafted items. Alternatively, you can also allocate space in your suitcase to safely carry them home. Rest assured, we are committed to ensuring that you can easily bring your creations back with you to cherish and share.
All the necessary craft supplies for the workshops will be provided during the Crafty Cruise Getaway. However, we kindly request that you bring a hair dryer with you to assist in the drying process of paint. This will ensure optimal results and allow you to fully enjoy the creative experience onboard. Rest assured that our workshops are designed to provide you with a hassle-free crafting experience, so simply come prepared with your creativity and enthusiasm!
Carnival suggests one bag per person, if traveling on cruises up to 5 days. You must personally carry-on any boarding documentation (passports, Visas, I.D), valuables, medications and items which require special handling.
Checked baggage service is only available until 2 hours before the ship's published sailing time of 3:30 pm EST. Guests arriving after this time will be responsible for taking their bags on board themselves.
Each checked suit case and carry-on suit case should not weigh more than 50 pounds, and when lying flat, bags must not exceed 16 inches high by 24 inches wide (the length of the bag is not a factor).
Carnival luggage tags must be affixed to your baggage prior to arriving at the terminal. Additional tags can be obtained at curbside from the porter. Porters will re-tag any luggage tag with a TBA cabin assignment.
Your hosts will be enjoying the early dining option at 6 pm, and you are welcome to join them during that time or choose a dining time that suits you best. The group booking number will ensure that everyone is connected for dining together. However, if you prefer not to dine with the entire group, you have the option to make changes. If you made your booking independently and would like to dine with the group, please contact the Carnival Group Booking department at 866-721-3225 and provide them with the Group Booking Number S5F4C1. They will assist you in connecting to the group for dining arrangements.
For first-time cruisers, we have valuable advice to help you prepare for an incredible voyage. We highly recommend checking out the Life Well Cruised channel on YouTube, hosted by Ilana. She offers a wealth of informative videos covering various aspects of cruising. These videos can provide valuable insights and tips to enhance your cruise experience. In addition to that, we suggest packing essential items, researching the ship's amenities and activities, familiarizing yourself with the cruise line's policies, and considering travel insurance for added peace of mind. Should you have any further questions or concerns, our customer support team is always ready to assist you. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure on your first cruise!
